The motor uses the new mid-drive technology, which places the engine in the bottom bracket of the bike, between the pedals. New patented technology reduces engine size while dramatically increasing drive torque .
The engine transfers the motion through the bike chain, thus being able to exploit all the gears of the rear wheel by combining them with two front chainrings, a small one for climbing and one for speed. How to use
Through the Bikee Bike app, the BEST system is connected to your smartphone and you can set all the riding parameters such as:
PAS : the motor delivers power according to the level of assistance set when the cranks rotate. It is the legal mode in Europe . In this mode it is possible to use the accelerator as an aid when starting off (up to 6km/h) without having to pedal. To go over 6 km/h you need to pedal.
THROTTLE (throttle on the grip): in this mode it is possible to accelerate and adjust the power supplied by the engine using the throttle grip. It is legal in Europe if you ride .
PAS + THROTTLE OVERRIDE : it's like the PAS mode, but when you want to (for example to tackle a flyover), operating the throttle grip increases the assistance level. When released, it returns to the set level of PAS mode.
The Bikee Bike app also allows you to view the engine parameters, such as speed , torque delivered , instantaneous consumption (Wh/Km), residual range and battery charge level .
Finally, it is also possible to set the throttle response mode (Throttle tamer, literally "tamer of power"), in fact by choosing a high level you will have smooth accelerations, low consumption and an increase in battery life, while a low or zero level will have a prompt and powerful response , ideal for those who want to have fun on technical tracks or slopes.
The app is compatible for iOS and Android. A traditional display for configuring settings even without a smartphone is available as an option.
